M.Ed. (Educational Psychology), class teacher, PhD Candidate
Heidi Lammassaari has worked in Research Group of Educational Psychology at the Department of Teacher Education, Faculty of Behavioural Sciences, University of Helsinki, Finland since 2013. At present, Heidi works as a PhD Candidate in Progressive Teacher Education – Engaging Learning Environments funded by Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland (2017-2019).
Heidi started her career as a research assistant in RYM Indoor Environment and Mind the Gap – Between digital natives and educational practices projects. She has been playing a significant role in coordinating and executing the 3Spaces (European Social Fund, 2015-2017) and JOT Joustavat Oppimisen Tilat (City of Espoo, 2014-2016) projects.
Heidi is interested in investigating and developing engaging environments that can promote learning, productivity and well-being. She is also passionate about exploring differing organizational cultures and conceptualizing expertise, knowledge creation processes and best practices in educational institutions and knowledge intensive work.
